7 days.
I met this girl, let’s name her april, she had brown wavy and sexy hair, a model’s complexion, eyes that would shine like stars, and a warm smile that could stop the world. I knew it at that very moment that I wanted her from the first time I saw her picture, I was like WOW. So, i built up my confidence to talk to her.
DAY 1. - so far so good. i knew that i was older than her, we talked about where she studies. yeah i did pull some tricks from my sleeves to make our conversation entertaining. she told me she was also from my city, she lives in a village/compound across the road. This was good, coz distance wasn’t a problem for us. then she just had to go. so we said our quick goodbye’s.
1 day after.
DAY 2. - i went in with a “Hey. :)” then we small talked, after that I asked her how was her love life and she answered, “not in my vocabulary.” so yeah we talked about love, she just wasn’t in the mood for it, so she left me hanging that day.
6 days after, i left her a message, “hey, goodevening!” but got no replies.
DAY 3. - she liked and commented on my activity! ohmahgah! so yeah, i acted cool and started to message her. then she told me she was at HongKong for vacation. cool then. she asked me if I wanted something from HK, but i said “nah, just promise me you’ll arrive back home safe and sound.” she knew i was being sweet. i knew she was still single. so I acted cool and i was the first one to say my goodbye. it always works. ;)
3 days after.
DAY 4. - she’s still at HK. I asked her out for movies. she said yes! i was so happy that my smile would reach the sky. so yeah, we stood up late chatting for hours. this day was a success with her.
DAY 5. - she made the 1st move this time. ohmahgah! :) i dedicated a song for her today.
DAY 6. - she made the 1st move again. :) I had this status about her, but ofcourse it didn’t had her name on it, then she commented on it and said, “who is she?” I couldn’t tell ofcourse, coz if i tell her, I may lose her trust as a friend. I like her, so much. She’s this kinda crush that means so much to me that i just don’t want to lose. we knew more and more about each other, which made me like her more and more too. we’re talking for hours and hours, this makes me very happy. coz, I know i don’t have a chance but, i’m just happy i can talk to an angel.
DAY 7. - she keeps on making the 1st move, so i’m getting this feeling that maybe she like’s me too! :) but the reason why she messaged me first today was because, she wanted to ask me “how can you tell if the guy is serious about me?” for a moment there, everything stopped for me, and i asked “why?” then she said. “coz theres this guy. he’s a model and he say’s he likes me.” so yeah, my self confidence from 60% back to 0%. So i changed the subject and, she keeps asking me, who’s this girl that i’m always talking about. she has no idea it was her. then comes the pressure if should i tell her or not. my hands get sweaty, butterflies in my tummy, my mind keeps over-thinking. I decide to tell her, but, she just said “Goodnight.” — WTF?!
It’s just so hard feeling rejected. now i’ve learned that not just because s/he gets to talk to you often, is interested in what you have to say, and wants to go out with you, doesn’t always mean that they like you to… maybe they just want to play with your emotions. and I think i’m just a lil bit over reacting to whats happening to me. well, Boy’s do stupid thing for the girl they love. see you around then.
